Homeschool physical education · New Port Richey

Parkour and movement classes for ages 5–12

Playce Academy offers structured instruction, progressive movement skills, and individualized coaching within a small recurring group. Classes are held near Main Street in New Port Richey and are designed to fit naturally into a homeschool week.

    Your first class

A first class at Playce Academy is designed to help each child get comfortable, start moving, and experience the way the program is taught.

Students are introduced to age-appropriate parkour and movement skills such as jumping and landing, balance, coordination, body control, and foundational movement patterns. Challenges can be adjusted to each child’s current ability so they can learn at an appropriate level while building confidence.

The goal is not to see how much a child already knows. It is to give them a positive first experience and a clear next step.

    Complete beginners welcome

No previous parkour experience is required. Children can begin with the fundamentals and progress as their skills, confidence, and movement quality develop.

A first-time student is not expected to already know how to vault, balance, climb, or perform parkour skills. Learning those skills progressively is part of the program.

    A challenge at their level

Children do not all need to perform the exact same version of a skill. Activities can be scaled up or down: one child may learn the foundational movement while another works on a more challenging progression of the same skill.

Playce Academy helps each child progress from where they are rather than comparing students against one another.

    Tuesday cohorts now forming

These are the intended recurring Tuesday schedules. Each cohort is currently forming and becomes eligible to open after at least four valid recurring commitments, followed by final owner approval and opening logistics. Families may still request a complimentary group trial; a request does not guarantee that the cohort is operating or reserve a recurring place.

    Before your complimentary trial

    • One complimentary group trial is available per child for life.
    • The trial is for group programming only; private lessons do not include a complimentary trial.
    • Simply scheduling a trial does not use it. The complimentary trial is considered used once the child actually attends.
    • After the trial, families can decide whether recurring classes are the right fit. No recurring enrollment or monthly billing starts automatically.
    • Recurring enrollment is handled separately and must be approved before any recurring charge.
